The Lion, The Fox and the Jackal Moral Story

Once a lion, a fox and a jackal set off for hunting. They agreed that each was to have an equal share of what was caught. They traveled towards deeper part of the jungle. Soon they saw a fat deer and the lion killed it at once.. The jackal was asked to divide the prize. He cut up the deer in three equal parts and offered one to the lion. At this the lion flew into a rage. He sprang upon the jackal. and killed him.

Then the lion asked the fox to divide the meat. The fox put aside a big heap for the lion and kept only a small piece for himself. On seeing this, the lion looked very pleased. He started eating his share with delight and asked the fox, "Who taught you to be so clever?". The fox replied humbly, "Sir! the dead jackal has been my teacher".
